About the Organisation

What is Muslim Union UK?

Muslim Union UK (MUUK) is a civil Islamic organisation established in March 2025 in London. It is dedicated to serving the Muslim community across Britain through education, community development, and active civic participation.

What is MUUK's mission?

Our mission is to serve Muslims in the United Kingdom, defend their rights, and empower them to participate actively in British society — while preserving their Islamic identity and values.

Is MUUK officially registered?

Yes. Muslim Union UK is formally registered in England and Wales and operates in full compliance with British law and its founding constitution.

Who governs MUUK?

MUUK operates through a structured governance framework comprising four bodies:


The Executive Office — manages the day-to-day operations of the organisation and oversees the branches. It includes ten specialist departments: Membership, Branches, Youth, Juniors, Dawah, Women, Media, Islamic Scouts, Finance, and Education.


Branch Boards — manage each local branch across the eight cities, under the supervision of the Executive Office.


The Shura Council — an elected body responsible for general oversight and setting the organisation's strategic direction.


The Judicial and Arbitration Committee — handles disputes and ensures compliance with the founding constitution.

Programmes & Projects

What programmes does MUUK offer?

MUUK runs six core programmes: the Youth Division (ages 16–25), the Juniors Division (ages 6–16), the Women's Division, Islamic Scouts, Community Partnerships, and Specialised Courses. You can explore all of them on our Our Projects page.

How do I enrol in a programme?

Contact us and our team will guide you to the most suitable programme for you or your child.

Are the programmes available across all branches?

We are actively expanding our programmes across all eight branches. Contact us to find out what is currently available in your area.

How can I donate to MUUK?

Donations are made via direct bank transfer. You can find the full bank details and a QR code on our Donate page.

Does my donation reach MUUK in full?

Yes. 100% of your donation goes directly to MUUK's programmes and community initiatives. We are committed to full transparency in how every pound is spent.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

There is no minimum amount. Every contribution, however small, makes a meaningful difference. Visit our Donate page to contribute.
